Twitter receives 46% more Government requests for information

Twitter has published the latest transparency report which shows how many requests they have received from governments around the world to get additional user information.

So far 54 countries have requested additional information, it is no surprise that the most requests (61%) came from the US in the last six month. In second comes Japan with 9%.

Overall the number of requests in the last six month has increased 46%.
