Today 1 million users will get access to beta of OS X Yosemite

Apple is going to release the new desktop software later this year but they want to make sure they get plenty of consumer feedback before that.

So they have decided to make the beta version available to a large number of people, 1 million to be exact, in order to get feedback and improve the OS. “”Your comments will help us make OS X better for all Mac users. This is beta software that is still in development, which means some applications and services may not work as expected,” says Apple. They also recommend not to use your main computer for the beta.
