Facebook introduces “Buy” Button

Facebook thinks it has found yet another way to make more money. The social network giant has just introduced a buy button which will allow users to directly purchase products that are being advertised on Facebook.

For now the company is in a testing phase, this has only been implemented in the US.

Apparently Facebook isn’t taking a cut of the revenue generated, but if this test is successful and they role it out on a larger scale that is surely going to change.

Facebook also came out to ease the mind of people that might have security concern when it comes to shopping through Facebook.

“None of the credit or debit card information people share with Facebook when completing a transaction will be shared with other advertisers, and people can select whether or not they’d like to save payment information for future purchases,” the company said.
