T-Mobile – free music streaming announced

T-Mobile made two announcements at their “Un-carrier” event which sets them apart from the competition for now when it comes to music streaming.

Simple Choice plan customers are not going to occur any data charges going forward and can stream music from services such as Spotify, Pandora, Rhapsody, iHeartRadio, iTunes Radio, and Slacker.

They also announced the unRadio service which is a partnership with Rhapsody, the top T-Mobile customers (unlimited plan at $80 per month) are getting access to over 20 million songs ad-free. Users are able to skip songs an unlimited number of times and can save 25 songs to their device as well.
T-Mobile customers which are not on the highest plan and want to make use of unRadio will be charged $4 a month.
